winter.

Winter in Canberra gets really cold. I have been finding it really hard to kick. Caroline is off in Europe, and Copey heads there soon too and is down the coast saving up, so it's really just me. I have started working a full time job, and am still working a casual job on top of that, so I don't have a lot of free time.

This is a post from Anz from Finland's blog at Modified which shows some of the cool stuff you get to do if you are enjoying a European summer rather than a cold Canberra winter

The coolest thing at the trip was Vasek's private show to me, Milan Benda and the australian shredita Caroline on Monday afternoon. We had just grilled and Vasek ate like five steaks and he went to put on his Lavers straight from the table and practiced like five or six times in a row his new routine for Worlds. When the music finished he went to push play from the stereos and did it again. So about ten minutes of shred in a row straight from the dinner table. I call that frikking stamina.

How about that!

In Australian Footbag news, there was a great article in Inside Sport, you can read about it at www.danednie.com or www.ausfootbag.org

Later in the year there's going to be a couple of competitions, and I'm pretty excited about that fact.

In October, the Melbourne University Footbag Club is hosting a jam between Friday October 3- Sunday October 5, which should be lots of fun. Sydney takes its turn in November when the Newtown Festival happens on November 9.
